n Friday, August 24th, Granada Theater is teaming up with female artist collective Beats By Her and Dallas women’s organization WiNGS for a night of tribute to the many emerging female artists of the Dallas music and art scene! Featuring indie pop darling Sudie, Lorelei K., Lev, DJ Natural Hiiigh, and many other emerging artists, this event will be a night you won’t want to miss. In addition to the music showcase, we’ll have an open market of female artisans and makers selling handmade art, apparel, vintage clothing, jewelry and more!
The DFW community is bursting with talent from female artists and collaborators all over the metroplex. What happens when you put a huge group of talented women in a room together to inspire and learn from each other? With Girl’s Club, we aim to find out. With this event we hope to highlight the efforts of hardworking women in our community, as well as encourage others to participate and support each other. That’s why we are so excited to partner with two organizations that are dedicating to doing just that. Beats By Her is an artist collective that provides a digital platform “created to support and celebrate the talent and hustle of women in music,” according to founder Jasmin Brand. WiNGS is a powerful organization dedicated to empowering women, fighting poverty, and impacting generations, by providing resources and programs to help women overcome poverty into financial stability, career readiness and small business development. WiNGS will be on site to provide information about the various services they offer, volunteer opportunities, as well as collecting donations for their organization.
Prior to the music, walk around our open marketplace area and support your fellow females by purchasing all kinds of handmade goods from vendors such as Valerie Morgan Jewelry, Babes Never Die Goods, Camie Scott Painting, Rare Heart Vintage Clothing and more! Come purchase unique, one of a kind items while supporting the wonderful women of Dallas and beyond.
Don’t miss a night dedicated to the empowerment, advancement, and celebration of women at Granada Theater on Friday, August 24th.
