Dallas-born siblings, Jennie Hayes and David Bingaman grew up listening to blues, classic rock, and country music. They both fell in love with the art of songwriting in college and began singing and writing together. They moved to Nashville after graduation and performed original music and bluegrass covers as The Bingamans. In 2016, they graduated from an acoustic duo to a fully formed Americana rock band, and Brother and the Hayes was born. Brother and the Hayes combine thoughtful lyrics with infectious grooves. They are taking roots music in a new direction, while paying homage to artists like Lightnin' Hopkins, Emmylou Harris, and Guy Clark. Their latest project, The Dead End EP, is available now.
