A special night is coming to the Granada Theater. Friday, July 13th, Dallas local Bryce Bangs is bringing his band to Lower Greenville for his self-titled album release show. Bryce Bangs is a Dallas regular, having frequented many metroplex venues, including opening our own Granada Theater for The Roomsounds and Bob Schneider this past April.
Bryce Bangs, like so many bands across America, got his start jamming in a garage. Calling Dallas his hometown, Bangs’ draws on his life in Dallas to inspire and cultivate his musical sound. In 2015, he released his She’s Gone – EP, a five song story of love, both as it comes and goes, and the struggle one experiences as they pursue that high again. Three years later, Bangs’ is ready to release his first full length LP. Bangs’ has led up to this album with the release of three singles, Belmont Tiff, Chasing That Gold, Taking A Ride. All three tracks are packed with energy and excitement, as the heavy guitar sound leads the band to powerful jams, while Bangs’ melodic voice soars overhead.
Bang’s described his single Taking A Ride as “all about living in the moment and breathing in the small things you normally take for granted”. You’re going to want to come down to the historic Granada Theater July 13th to live in the moment for this sure-to-be-epic album release show.
