A beautiful tribute to George Harrison's 6x-Platinum and seminal album, "All Things Must Pass"

Harrison; the "quiet" Beatle, who's 1970 solo album "All Things Must Pass" was a stunning statement from an artist who had to make his way alongside the likes of Lennon & McCartney. Not an easy career choice. This stunning double-album release, hot on the heels of the Fab Four's breakup, served as a calling card for the guitarist's overlooked material within the Beatles camp. With the help of legendary producer Phil Spector, George crafted an album that permanently asserted himself as a songwriter to be cherished, even envied. Here was an ex-Beatle, free of his shackles, ready to broaden his sonic horizons with grace and beauty. The images and themes throughout the album's six sides (!) are universal, spiritual, heartbreaking, joyous, humorous and always honest. Here, Harrison speaks directly to the world with biting sarcasm and sorrowful empathy.
Big Mike had a dream to perform the entire album. He shared it with his friends. They all agreed. And the results will be on the Granada stage February 24th for all to see. Each of the primary musicians are singing an entire side of the album. The guys have put a band together of like-minded friends who have the same love of this landmark record, and the show promises to be nothing short of magical.
Please join Michael, Chris, Paul and Chad and a host of amazing Dallas talent as they celebrate George's 73rd birthday in style by presenting a live rendition of George Harrison's masterpiece; "All Things Must Pass".
Big Mike Richardson is a staple of the Fort Worth cover band scene and a lifelong fan of all things Beatle. Performing this album in it's entirety has been a dream of Mike's for many years.
Multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Chris Holt has played in dozens of acclaimed original and cover projects over the past 20 years (during which time he has won five DOMA awards), while maintaining a consistent output of material as a recording artist. He is currently juggling time between supporting his most recent solo album, 2016's Stargazer, and traveling the world as a touring guitarist for music legend Don Henley.
Paul Averitt has been a professional singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter since his childhood performing as a soloist in The Texas Boys Choir. Paul has been part of numerous original and tribute projects, has played and sung on stages around the world and on record with an impressive array of artists, and has plans to record a solo album in March, 2017. He has a cat and hates writing bios.
Keyboardist Chad Stockslager has been dazzling audiences for generations with his skillful touch and whimsical musings, combining musical knowledge and expertise in numerous genres with an innate entertainer's intuition. Chad's addition to this show is sure to baffle and delight!
