Since her debut in the early 90s, Ani DiFranco has become an American folk legend, known not only for her empowering music, but her poetry, and her devotion to activism and promoting the social causes she believes in. With over 20 studio albums and an independent record label, Righteous Babe Records, under her belt, the artist has spent the past 25 years working hard to make music with a powerful message. Though a self-described “Little Folksinger,” her music has explored a myriad of other genres to create a distinct and complex musical discography. DiFranco’s dynamic stage presence, as well as her genuine desire to make an intimate connection with her audience at every performance, make for an unforgettable experience. Her latest album, Allergic To Water, debuted in October of last year. DiFranco keeps die-hard fans happy with an eclectic set list that pulls from various albums to keep fans, both old and new, engaged.
Opening for Ani is Ana Egge, a brooklyn-based alt-country troubadour with an edge. Her latest album, Bright Shadow, debuted earlier in 2015 and is certain to please the ears of Ani fans all over.
