The excitement was palpable as hundreds of people lined up around the front of the Granada on Friday night, preparing for a night of non-stop grooving to some of the best beats of the summer.
The theater was decorated with giant polaroids of previous GvsB favorites, and a giant flag hanging from the balcony showed off the show posters from the first four events.
Synth-pop duo Prince Innocence kicked things off for the night:
Yumi Zouma was up next, with everyone swaying along to lead singer Kim Pflaum’s dreamy dance moves and ethereal vocals
After that, Tei Shi filled the house with her unique sound
Lower Dens got the whole crowd moving with their funky pop vibes
And finally, headliner Jamie XX totally killed it with a stellar performance and the biggest disco ball I’ve ever seen
GvsB V was one of the most fun shows I’ve been to all year, and I already can’t wait to see who’s lined up for next year!
