We are extremely excited to celebrate our 10th birthday this fall, so much that we’ve launched our Challenge Coin Hunt and what is sure to be many more surprises on the way. Looking back on the years, we decided to highlight some Granada veterans that will be returning to the Granada this year.

VNV NATION
Played June 14th, 2007 & July 27th, 2009
Returning February 28th

“The band isn’t something you’re going to hear on a traditional modern rock radio station; combining elements of electronica, dance music and a little bit of industrial for good measure, VNV Nation is the sound for kids who missed out on Nine Inch Nails in the early ’90s. And the dour sound of the vocals actually meshes quite well with the upbeat electronic sound. Combining the two together gives the band’s sound a little bit of hope shining through the despair.” – Dallas Observer

White Denim
Played October 31st, 2009, July 23rd, 2011 & April 5th, 2012
Returning April 4th

“Easily the tightest band on the bill, guitarists James Petralli and Austin Jenkins played harmonizing riffs while drummer Joshua Block made jazzy polyrhythms look like a no-brainer.” – Dallas Observer

The Sounds
Played November 10th, 2011
Returning April 18th

The Hold Steady
Played July 10th, 2010
Returning April 30th

“Heaven is whenever the Hold Steady take the damn stage,” read one Tweet on the Granada’s Twitter feed that ran on the stage’s screens before the headliners’ set.” – Dallas Observer

The Faint
Played April 22nd, 2009
Returning May 1st

Bombay Bicycle Club

Seeing some of our favorite veterans return to Granada once more has got us even more excited for what’s coming up this year. 10 years is us meeting the age limit to attend a show with a parent guardian, but we are in for the ride. Keep an eye out for the Challenge Coin, and you’ll see us dancing along with these bands.
