i’ll do some weird shit because… why not.

1. Saw this video early in the year and it totally blew me away. I
spent the next 3 montDhs hunting down the album and every song is
pretty awesome. The group is called Policeman and the album is
Keisatsu which actually means policeman. Totally bizarre. The video is
like Dragonball Z meets Jersey Shore on acid. You Dwill probably not
forget it anytime soon and you’ll totally show it off to your friends.

2. Ghostfunk: the mashup album of everyone’s favorite Wu member,
Ghostface Killah, and afrobeat stuff. One of the most seamless
mashup’s I have heard, plus it’s pure funk.

3. Tonetta. I showed everyone at the Granada offices a video of this
dude and they all couldn’t believe it was real. He is very real and
has been living in a basement in seclusion since like 83. I bought one
of his records through Black Tent Press and it is as awesome as you
would expect. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lBy-04TdxY

4. This Acid Baby Jesus video for their song I’m a Baby is solid gold.
Helps that the song is really awesome. They played at Bryan Street and
it was a totally awesome show.

5. This video combines two of my favorite things… party jamz and
Planet of the Apes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0cf9wwYXQs
