The Granada Theater expands Office Staff
Dallas, TX – April 5, 2011 – The Granada Theater is happy to announce the expansion of their team, with the addition of two new staff members consisting of Chelsea Morris and Julie Garcia.
Chelsea Morris is the Special Events Coordinator in the Special Events department. Chelsea joins the Granada Theater from Stephen Pierce, International with 4 years of experience in special events, where she was the Events Director. In this position, she planned and executed 124 events in 2010.
Julie Garcia is the Special Events & Concert Publicity Manager, working with both the Special Events and Promotions/Concert departments. Julie joins the organization with 11 years of experience in radio, including stints as Assistant Promotions Director at KHKS-FM/106.1 KISS – FM, 4 years with the nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick in the Morning show and as Promotions Director of KDBN-FM/93.3 The Bone. Most recently, she was the Senior Publicist for 20th Century Fox at Allied Integrated Marketing serving the markets of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin.
The Granada Theater has been voted Best Live Music Venue 2007 – 2010. Built in 1946, the historic Granada Theater is locally owned and operated. The Granada staff is a collection of talented, experienced, professionals who appreciate continuing the legacy of this great building and the art that takes place inside.
