One of our Twitter followers pointed out something kinda cool.  The “Pretty in Pink” soundtrack has to rank as one of the better all time soundtracks.  And we’ve got 2 of the bands coming in the next couple months!

@joereform: I’ve seen @suzyv and Psychedelic Furs @granadatheater. If I catch OMD, I’ll have a Pretty in Pink soundtrack trifecta! :)

Here’s a little info from Wikipedia on the subject:

The title song by the Psychedelic Furs was the actual inspiration for the movie and was re-recorded for this soundtrack; it had been released in 1981 for the album Talk Talk Talk. “Left of Center” was also re-recorded. The first track, “If You Leave”, was written in 1985 in advance specifically for the movie.
